New Goats and Goals

Hello! Welcome, Pasture Patrons to the new era of Pasture’s Kiss.

As we celebrate a new year, I have so many goals and aspirations for this business that I intend to accomplish in 2026. Starting with blogs (obviously). I want to make sure everyone is getting their worth for being a subscriber and it’s clear that I’ve been slacking on sending out emails and posting blogs. BUT that is going to change this year!

Now, I’d like to share some herd updates.

For those that don’t follow me on social media, I must break the news that our sweet Starburst passed away this past summer. She passed away suddenly, in my arms and it was heartbreaking because it was so unexpected. I stepped away, giving myself time to grieve her loss. I knew I had to do that in order to move forward. I missed her terribly but I knew I had to push through and find a new dairy goat that was in milk. I had orders to fill, craft shows to prepare for and no milk to do that with.

So, like any sane person, I bought 4 new goats. Two Nigerian dwarf goats, and one Alpine, and one Alpine/Nubian. Moonpie, Ice Princess, Harriet, and Autumn.

You can find them in the “Meet the Goats” section soon!

Moonpie and Ice Princess came from a farm just 20 minutes from me and Harriet and Autumn came all the way from Tennessee!

All 4 of these ladies are pregnant and due in March! I’m so excited to see how well they all do milking. It will be interesting to have multiple milk goats at once that will all be hand milked.

Anyway, among that announcement, I have so many new fun things and ideas for this year so please stay tuned and thank you for being here!
